Hi all, Tracy here.
We’ve made some of the screenshots from the trailer into desktop wallpapers in case you want to adorn your screen with Storm loveliness. We’ll be adding more wallpapers over the coming few weeks including some characters and typography, if you have any requests please let us know in the comments!
We have added the wallpapers to a Flickr account, please do report any issues you have. To download, follow these steps:
- Go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/stormmovie/
- Click the wallpaper you want (or skip step 1 and just click the images above)
- Click on the ‘all sizes’ icon above the wallpaper
- Click ‘Download the large size’
Voila! All yours. It may not all fit on your screen, depending what resolution you have, but feel free to crop and resize as long as it’s just for private, offline use. This was a quick upload, so if you’re having trouble with getting it to fit your screen, let me know and if I get a spare few minutes I’ll make and upload some other sizes.
We’re also working on iPhone backgrounds and avatars, and if you have any other requests please do let us know.

@Emily – yes, that sounds doable, but that’s probably the biggest width we can go to. Give me a few days and I’ll upload some options – meanwhile I guess you could centre it and set a background colour, but that’s not as nice as full screen. These are quite high quality so it might look OK if you stretch it – I haven’t tested it at that resolution, just 1024 and 800 at the moment (cause it’s nearly midnight on a Monday
).

Yep, bigger sizes please! My laptop is 1440×900, my desktop is 1920×1200, and a lot of wallpaper sites now publish in 2560×1600 to suit 30-inch screens.
Are the files coming from vector artwork? If so, it should be easy to make bigger sizes, right? (As long as the aspect ratio isn’t different, of course. The above resolutions are all 16:10.)

My screen is 1680×1050…so I have to do slight resizing and trimming…but these are excellent.

I have no idea what size my screen is but Tim looks magnificent.
Picked the biggest size then I just added a blue border to blend with the colours in the pic.

Would it be possible to make available some wallpapers at 2560×1440 (16:9) for the 27 inch iMac?
I can’t wait to see this film posted on YouTube! I am planning to spam my friends and relatives’ mailboxes with links to it hoping to make see the lie they are living for believing in stone-age fairy tales!
It too would be awesome to see Dawkins, Harris, Hitchens, Shermer, Ariane Sherine and Tim Minchin together in some kind of rational thinking promotional video campaign. Just to steer the pot a bit more.
