I thought I’d share some fresh character sketches with y’all.
Here are some initial drafts of a rather deviant psychic who shows up half way through the film;
“Lying to some crying woman whose child has died
And telling her you’re in touch with the other side?
I reckon that’s fundamentally sick.
Do we need to clarify here
That there’s no such thing as a psychic?”
We only meet him briefly so I wanted him to be immediately dislikeable; pointy fingers, pointy hair, pointy ears, pointy lips – if you gave him a hug, you’d cut yourself. Not a nice chap.
Does he get what’s coming to him?
You’ll have to wait until October to find out. ;D

I’m liking (or rather, hating) the one in the top middle. He seems like the type to be annoyingly smug and patronizing.

Couldn’t you just use John Edward’s face?… If there’s anyone more immediately dislikeable then I haven’t seen them
